Filipino Needs Urgent Help To Pay Off Bills and Daily Needs

I am 51 years (on January 8, 2012) and had been out of work since 2002. My wife left me to work in the U.S. on the same year I lost my job, however, she is not sending us money to support our son who has celebral palsy.

Due to her absence, I took another woman who could help me forget what my wife did to us. We have two kids - a boy who is going to be 3 years old on February 2012, and a girl who is 6 months old this December (2011).

Since 2002, I tried to look for a job but there is AGE DISCRIMINATION in our country (Philippines). Companies would give priorities to new graduates who are willing to accept minimum wage.

So I decided to practice my profession as a CPA while still looking for a full time job. And because Filipino companies prefer big auditing firms, I only got a couple of clients (less than 10) however I was very thankful then because the fees I got from them are enough to cover our daily needs.

Worse thing happen when the government issued new regulations - changing the accountancy code that requires practitioner to be accredited with them. Then other government agencies followed like the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission, etc., requiring practitioners to be accredited with them before they render their services to the public. Because I don't have any of the accreditation, I was forced to cease my practice.

To survive, I joined MLM and Direct Selling companies hoping I could earn a decent and residual income; but because I am not a good salesman, I failed to recruit downlines to expand my network. In other words, I just lost my investments to those companies without recovering any single centavo.

August 2011 when we consumed all of my savings and since September, we are just living with the help of some friends.

However, my friends can't support me forever because they also have their own needs and limitations. This is the reason why I joined Aidpage hoping that there could be a group or association that could help me with my problems as follows:

1. Immediate - to pay off my bills and rental, infant food for my babies, medicines for my son who have celebral palsy and for myself - I have diabetes, hypertension, and osteoarthritis.
2. Long-term - fund to help me start a business. Since I came from non-life insurance industry, I am thinking of starting a small motor vehicle repair shop that will serve insurance companies by repairing vehicles who met an accident. I may be needing between 1M to 2M pesos (that is roughly US$24,000 to US$48,000). Another business I am thinking is to set up a real estate development company that will buy farm lands in developing municipalities and cities and convert it into a residential housing.

I hope anyone who could read this help me. Or if there is an investor out there who is planning to set up a company in the Philippines, I am very much willing to help them out, provided he/she would hire me on full time basis as his/her finance manager/accountant.
